The Grand Hotel Tremezzo Palace is an early 20th century palace surrounded by centuries old gardens and overlooking Lake Como and the Riviera delle Azalee, 75 kilometers from Milan. Wireless Internet access is available for those who wish to stay in touch with friends and family. Golfers will find the Menaggio & Cadenabbia Golf Club five kilometers from the hotel, as well as three more 18-hole courses within 30 kilometers. The hotel can arrange water sports equipment such as motor boats and pedaloes, and guests can book a water-skiing instructor at the front desk. The famous botanical gardens of Villa Carlotta are 200 meters from the hotel, and guests can take boats trips to visit the church and basilica of Comancina Isle, or Bellagio, 'the pearl of Lake Como' on the shore opposite to the hotel. Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) is 82 kilometers from the hotel. A Ferrovie Nord train connection goes directly from the airport to Como. It arrives less than 100 meters from the landing stage, where a hydrofoil or boat can be taken to Tremezzo.
